But arising pasture, the use of socio-scientific investigation and research on science teachers for the take up of socio-scientific inquiry, understanding has recognized to a variety of provocations obstacles. We explored in this study, the explanation and accomplishment of socio-scientific inquiry amongst natural science teachers who educate in that prospectus that, in article, is spread through with socio-scientific inquiry. First, as a way to conclusion of coaching truthful natural contented, the teachers usually use socio-scientific inquiry. Secondly in their appraisal practices, on mastery of truthful contented, teachers had an unambiguous importance. Third, to specific biological contents (DNA) the teachers would generally reduce socio-scientific inquiry such that it doesn’t seem to permit student to connect through actual socio-scientific inquiry. Our main accentuate are mainly important for strategy producers, educational modules planners and science educators as we dispute that in order to navigate a alienated curriculum, contented-center’s main part is understanding might be an adapting approach utilized.
Farhana Akmal, Muhammad Sherbaz Ali, Munawwar Ahmad Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 http://cerjournal.com/index.php/cerjournal/article/view/122 Sat, 30 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Female Students’ Satisfaction about Role of University in Providing Facilities and Services http://cerjournal.com/index.php/cerjournal/article/view/123
The study was design to examine the provision of facilities and services to female students and their level of satisfaction by their university. Findings suggest that the use of pictures stimulates creativity, improves vocabulary acquisition, and enhances students' motivation and engagement in writing tasks. The research recommends the adoption of innovative teaching methodologies, such as integrating visual aids, to promote effective language learning and foster students' writing proficiency.
Rashida Imran, Samina Liaquat Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 http://cerjournal.com/index.php/cerjournal/article/view/124 Sat, 30 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Problems faced by the University Research Scholars during COVID-19 http://cerjournal.com/index.php/cerjournal/article/view/125
COVID-19's explosion has posed a serious danger to global economic activity, and it has made life particularly tough for research institutes. The global spread of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is continuing to have a significant impact, making it difficult to strike a balance between personal safety and work responsibilities. Most research scientists have had to deal with a variety of unforeseen challenges. This is primarily due to a lack of tools and challenges connected to managing personal security and family obligations during this time. The objective of this research paper was to find out the problems faced by the university researchers during COVID-19 pandemic. The study was qualitative in nature. Social sciences and pure sciences faculties were part of the sample. An interview was scheduled with M.Phil & Ph.D students from the city of Faisalabad for data collection purposes. Simple random sampling was employed. Results of the study shows that there were numerous problems such as data collection, research tools, access to the labs, internet resources, residence in hostels as well as transportation issues that the university researchers face in their research work during COVID-19.
Saba Sarwar, Ghulam Haider Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 http://cerjournal.com/index.php/cerjournal/article/view/125 Sat, 30 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Investigating the Efficacy of Lecture and Demonstration Methods on Teaching of Science at Elementary Level in Azad Jammu and Kashmir http://cerjournal.com/index.php/cerjournal/article/view/128
Science plays a pivotal role in our life. Science is one of the most important channels of knowledge. Students’ achievement in this subject at all levels of education had been consistently poor. In an attempt to seek solution to this problem this study determined the effect of lecture and demonstration method in the teaching of science at elementary level in Haveli Kahuta AJ&K. The objective of the study was to find out achievements scores of elementary students in the subject of science with demonstration and lecture method. The study adopted an experimental design. The participants of the study were students of class 8th of Govt. Girls High school Haveli Kahuta, for conducting the experiment, the investigator used pre-test and post-test comparison group design. Two groups were made to conduct this study i.e experimental group and control group. Experimental group was taught by demonstration method (18 students) and control group was taught by lecture method (18 students). 100 items (MCQs) were made for data collection and data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level of 0.05. 100 Items were same for both groups (Pre-test, post-test). The findings of the study revealed a significant difference in the mean scores of the students and a significant difference was noted between control group and experimental group. Results obtained revealed that student’s performance better science when taught using demonstration method than when lecture method was used. It was therefore, recommended that the demonstration method be used with confidence to teach science at elementary level.
Saba Liaquat Kayani, Aabida Lateef, Faisal Ishaque, Ghulam Rabi Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 http://cerjournal.com/index.php/cerjournal/article/view/128 Sat, 30 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0000
